Nick was an original member of Intense in the band's earliest incarnation, and is now in his second tour of duty having re-joined in 1999. His playing and writing style is influenced by the twin-guitar harmonies of bands such as Iron Maiden, early Metallica, Crimson Glory and Queensryche, and by the thrash and power metal bands such as Forbidden, Testament, Exodus and Nuclear Assault in whose mosh pits he grew up! Nick's favourite band is Dream Theater - and you can occasionally hear his love of prog metal and rock seeping into his songwriting with Intense.
